Family Room
We finally moved in a little over a week ago and things are going well.
Our new furniture for the family room/kitchen arrived a couple of days after we moved in and we were also able to install internet and tv…all the comforts of home.
Color palette
The colors we chose for the family room were loosely based on these pieces of glass from my mom’s original collection.
Cool mid century modern table
On Mother’s Day, I went down to Pier One Imports and World Market to find some pillows. I had a vague notion in mind of what I wanted and I found them.
Embroidery reminiscent of the 1960’s.
Colors were just what I was looking for
I couldn’t resist these indoor/outdoor pillows to add a little texture and a pop of color

That’s all for right now. This is the only room that is halfway finished. I’ll post more as the house begins to get in shape.
We did celebrate Mother’s Day here and the hubster made me mojitos.
